I'm BACK!!!

Well, I have been back for a couple of days now and yes, I slacked off and didn't write my blog.  BUT I didn't slag of with work.  In fact, I jumped right back into work on Monday and a full day on Tuesday.  So far I have been having a fabalous selling week and I am so proud of myself.  On top of that every one of my facials and skin care class, the guest have LOVED me, they love the knowledge that I give and how much fun they have at my presentation.  The feeling of being liked is so GOOD.

This good feelings brings me to think about Mary Kay's Golden Rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"  This is so important in life because NOBODY likes to be mistreated and this rule goes beyond the Mary Kay business or any of the customer service business.  This rule should be applied everyday in every situation in our lives.  Here's an example, earlier tonight I was watching the Apr 6 episode of Biggest Loser and in the show there's a girl on the red team Melissa.  She was kicked out earlier in the show but she got a 2nd chance to come back to the house.  The first time she was in the house all the other players have already labeled her as the "game player" someone who will do anything to win the game.  And for those who don't want any reality shows, they always do interviews in between to get their thoughts and feelings, and from those interviews you can see she is not a very honest person, everything is about her and only her, she will do anything to play with people's mind and win the game.  She thinks she can have it all.  At the Apr 6 episode, once again she was in the bottom two and will be up for vote by the other players to get eliminated.  It was between her and another girl name Andrea, before the vote both Melissa and Andrea get to plead to the other players to get votes to allow them to stay on the game.  Andrea had poured her heart out telling the other players she needs to remain on the game to keep loosing weight, whereas Melissa (being a lawyer) tried to use the mulipulation technique to win votes.  She said that because she will always loose very little weight if they choose to keep her in the house it's like a free ticket ride to the final 4 contestant.  At the announcement of the vote each player get to say why they voted the way they did, and every single person had voted Melissa because nobody liked her, even though she may be right, but nobody wants to get played, everyone like to be honest.  Well I tell this story because it shows the importance of the "Golden Rule" because Melissa had always mistreated the other players and would lied to get what she wants, others can see it, and they don't like it so she played the game and the game played her back and bite her in the behind.  It's so important to treat others the way you want to be treated.  If you are impatient with someone, in return you will not gain the respect and care from that person.
